In a side writing gig, I pen movie reviews for Richmond.com. Well recently, some churchgoers took offense to a negative review I gave to big screen summer bomb “Evan Almighty.”
It turned ugly.

LOL...you hit a nerve! I think that the commenters are probably right about not liking that Mel Gibson line, lol. I haven't seen the movie, but you confirmed what I thought it would be!
All I can say is that the truth hurts. I am a Southern Baptist and I thought the Young Life line was hilarious. But I guess the Jesus I know has thicker skin than some people think. And while I agree in principle with the idea of closing Chick-fil-a and Ukrop's on Sunday's I am kinda peeved that I have to go to Kroger. Keep the good stuff coming.
